Sue South was born and half bred in Porlock. Her mother was born in the village and her father came from London, which makes her nearly a local!

However, her four four children and three grandchildren (of whom she is inordinately proud) are definitely local. She loves the moorland life and currently farms on the western edge of Exmoor where her husband breeds Exmoor Horn Sheep and Pedigree Beef Shorthorn cattle.
