Welcome to our new website for Exmoor The Country Magazine.

Exmoor is, as everyone who loves it knows, unique. Its treasured landscape has been formed over centuries by the people who have lived and worked on the moor.

Love of this  landscape, through its every mood and season, and a desire to support the moor’s communities, economy and way of life have been the underlying aims of Exmoor The Country Magazine since 1996. The magazine offers a unique insight for the local community and visitors alike and is a great way to stay connected with Exmoor if you have a soft spot for the area but can't be here all of the time. 

A team of friends and colleagues have joined together to take the magazine forward and keep Exmoor’s local publication – well, truly local! We have a new base at the Exmoor Pony Centre, Ashwick, where you are welcome to pop in and say hello. We hope that you will pick up a copy or subscribe and, by enjoying an excellent read, help to support the magazine’s future!
